1. The Perfect Cut. Use a sharp knife or gardening clippers for a clean 45-degree cut. Immediately place the freshly cut stem into water. This ensures maximum water absorption. 2. The Hot Water Trick. Immerse the bottom of the stems in boiling water for 30 seconds. This simple trick helps to prevent wilting and prolongs the bloom's freshness. 3. Condition and Preserve. Mix a preservative substance with tap water. This boosts their longevity and keeps them vibrant for longer. 4. Trimming and Arranging.
